FutureEd UAE 100 · Recognising the UAE's educators
FutureEd UAE 100.
100 educators. One future.
We're looking for 100 educators who are quietly changing how the UAE learns, thinks and gets ready for what's next. Know one? Tell us.
One hundred educators. One shared future.
The idea
The people changing how the UAE learns deserve to be seen.
Classrooms across the UAE are changing faster than they have in a generation. New ways of teaching, new tools, new learners. And a quiet group of educators is leading it, mostly without anyone noticing. FutureEd UAE 100 finds them, celebrates them, and connects them.

Six categories
Six ways educators are moving the UAE forward.
Each of the 100 is recognised where their impact shows most clearly. Open to educators in schools, colleges and universities across all seven emirates.
01
Teaching Excellence
The craft of the classroom, done exceptionally well. Students who are genuinely engaged.
02
Learning Innovation
New ways of teaching and learning that change how knowledge gets built and shared.
03
Design & Creativity
Design thinking and creative problem-solving, brought into how students learn and make.
04
AI & Future Learning
Thoughtful, responsible use of AI and new technology, in service of learners.
05
Educational Leadership
Leaders who change what a school, college or institution can be.
06
Social Impact
Opening up real learning for people it usually doesn't reach.
Why it exists
More than an award. Three jobs.
01
Recognise
Celebrate 100 educators whose work makes a real, visible difference to learners.
02
Inspire
Share their stories and methods, so good ideas travel from one classroom to many.
03
Connect
Build a national network of educators working on the future of learning in the UAE.
Done well, it can grow beyond one ceremony: into an annual programme, a national network, a conference, and a place for educators to keep learning.
How the 100 are chosen
Judged on evidence, not popularity.
Every nomination is read, and assessed against the same four questions. No votes. No fees. No lobbying.
Criterion 1
Impact on learners
Clear change in how students learn, think or succeed. Shown through outcomes, not claims.
Criterion 2
Originality
Methods, tools or ways of organising learning that go beyond the textbook.
Criterion 3
Human-centred
Built around learners' real needs, context and wellbeing, including those most often left out.
Criterion 4
Influence
Work that colleagues, institutions or communities have picked up, adapted or learned from.
The jury
Educators, designers and academic leaders.
An independent jury reviews the shortlist. We'll name the jurors before shortlisting begins, and any juror with a connection to a nominee steps out of that review.
- Nominations are checked for completeness and eligibility
- Shortlisted educators may be asked for supporting evidence
- The jury scores each one against the four criteria
- The final 100 hear from us before the public announcement

In practice
